Enjoy The Music Of Bells
The Schulmerich g5 unit comes pre-programmed with 7,800 melodies ranging from hymns to other popular songs. But the limits don't stop there. You can record your own melodies as well –giving you unlimited freedom to customize the bell ringing exactly the way you want it. A large 15-inch touchscreen display, simple programming capabilities, and web-based access from your PC gives you complete control over the unit. No owner’s manual is needed because help menus are built directly onto each screen.
Each Individual Bell Voice And Bell Tone Is Digitally Sampled
The Schulmerich g5 technology utilizes digital sampling of each individual bell voice and bell tone instead of recording the bells collectively. This means that digital samples of each bell voice and each bell note were individually recorded resulting in hundreds of hi-fidelity digital audio tracks giving a true-to-life representation of each bell and note. When a melody or swing is activated, each individual bell voice and note is played with crystal precision just as it does with a traditional bronze-cast carillon. Because the bell sounds and notes play independently of each other through this industry-leading technology, the volume of each bell voice or note can be controlled manually – giving you even more ability to create custom ringing. Now you can employ one bell voice to play the melody and have a softer bell voice play the accompaniment.
Standard g5 Bell Voices
True Cast™ Bells
Realistic clapper impact and decay. The complete 61-note range is included: from the glockenspiel sounds of the upper register to the low bourdon bells.
Flemish Bells
Created for the Flemish low-lands of Belgium and Holland, the Flemish bells were quite pleasing and capable of playing harmony. The major tuning of the Flemish bell offers an entire 61-note range that is rich and brilliantly clear.
English Bells
English Bells, although tuned to a pitch, were not the perfect bells. Their charm, however, is in the rich and sonorous tones of each bell. English bells are most effective when played as single notes, but combine beautifully with Harp Bells for accompaniment.
Harp Bells
Although the 61 Harp Bells are generally used as accompaniment to the other bell voices they are also a beautiful solo voice.
Realistic Clapper Startup and Decay
Not only do Schulmerich's renowned bell sounds reflect true-to-life bell sound and tone through digital individual bell samples, but they also reflect accurate bell behavior. When an actual cast-bronze bell starts pealing, it takes several swings for the clapper to get into rhythm -which results in a unique startup sequence that begins with the bell striking irregularly and not as loud. Once the bell is in full swing, the clapper adapts a constant rhythm and stays that way until the bell ringer stops pulling on the rope. The natural inertia of the bell keeps it swinging until motion ceases which results in the bell again adapting an irregular rhythm that decreases in volume until the clapper no longer strikes the bell. Because Schulmerich has mastered the sound and behavior of bells, we can provide you with the most genuine and accurate bell sound available today.

Now, there's no need to worry about the pitch of your digital carillon matching the pitch of your pipe organ or piano. With the Schulmerich Celebration Series you have the ability to adjust the pitch of the carillon to match your acoustic instrument. You also have the ability to adjust the volume of each bell voice so that it blends perfectly with your organ registration and piano -therefore not overpowering the accompaniment. All these features combining together give you a synergy that is unmatched anywhere in the world and results in maximum performance capability of your Schulmerich Digital Carillon.
Celebration Gives You More
The Schulmerich g5 comes standard with four Bell Voices: True Cast™, Flemish, Old English, and Harp. Exclusive Celebration Series Bell Voices
Celesta Bells
Celesta Bells have a keen timbre and brilliance with a delicate brightness. Their usefulness, either alone or in conjunction with other bell voices, is invaluable. The 61 Celesta bells serve three main uses: in solo or chorded passages, as an additional (double) set of bells, and in conjunction with other bell voices.
Organ Chime
The 37-note range offers the traditional sound of tubular chimes. The Organ Chime is a beautiful, bright sound for melodies, with either organ or harp accompaniment.
Quadra Bells
The timbre of the 61 Quadra Bells is more precise than the Harp Bells, yet they maintain a very definite depth and solidity of tone. They are more exciting and have a more comprehensive quality. The Quadra Bells add color and reinforcement and may be used as solo bells or played in chorded passages.
Timbrel Bells
The 61-note range of the Timbrel Bell voice adds a rich timbre tune in a major tonality. The Timbrel Bell voice provides a distinct bell voice unlike any other carillon voice, and can be used as a solo voice or in chorded passages.
